Hello my name is Kate Marshall.
I am a transplant from the Midwest where I grew up. As with so many of us, the pandemic
rearranged my world in a few short months. Having been in the Travel/Event Management
industry for 35 years, it was quite a blow to have the industry come to a stand still due to the
virus. But I decided to use this as an opportunity for challenge and new growth. I sold my home
in Illinois, packed up my car and my pup and headed south! Having family in the Punta Gorda
area, I decided to check out the area and fell in love with the North Fort Myers/Cape Coral vibe!
While searching for my new home, I met a Realtor who encouraged me to try my hand at selling
manufactured homes and the rest, as they say, is history! In my first year, I sold seven out of
nine listings and found three homes for buyers. According to one real estate franchisor, the
average agent sells four to five homes a year, so I was happy with these results for a first-year
sales agent!
Now, after passing the state licensing exam, I am a licensed Realtor in Florida! I’m also
continuing to work with leased land manufactured home sales!
